I really hope this was just a prototype. Or they could just sow the word 'almost' before 'Grand@

Living as I do in Ireland I'd buy one anyway.

Nothing like taping a commercial about your (almost) Grand Slam run to top things off. Well done leaking it after the fact as well. Classy.

Do people not understand that every major sports team that gets into a possible winning position will pre-emptively record ads and produce merchandise with their sponsors? Nike wanted to have the stuff ready to go immediately after the final weekend, it was just unfortunate that the team couldn't quite do it. If anyone should be blamed for all this it's Nike for 'leaking' the video and garnering tons of publicity, with all the negative comments aimed at the RFU/England despite them not creating or having control over the release of the ad. I guarantee that Ireland would have had stuff prepared for when they won the Grand Slam in 2009... It's not arrogant when you pre-empt the Slam and actually win it for some reaon...

I like the design. England did win the tournament...just not the grand slam part.

Doh! Gotta admit that its a bad look, but chances are this is just a marketing dept blunder, not sheer arrogance (which the RFU do possess plenty of, mind). Is it just my Kiwi penchant for the black jersey though, or does anyone else reckon that tight white strip is a bit wrong? I just don't fancy it. Still, England last won in 2003 ... it wasn't a bad year I hear.
