Euro Vision

After a comprehensive victory over Ulster in the final at Twickenham on Saturday, the question on many a lip this week is whether Leinster should now be considered the greatest Heineken Cup team of all time?

An unprecedented third European title in four years would suggest so, but perhaps a more pertinent question is this:

How come players who look like world beaters in blue can look so distinctly average when decked out in the green of Ireland?

Answers on the back of a postcard...

Sorry we could not meet up while I am here in the UK-been enjoying the warm weather and sunshine in London.

It is interesting that Leinster has so many players who play for the national team, but Ireland had a so-so 6 Nations. Wales won the grand slam, but when is the last time a Welsh Club has made the semi finals of the Heineken Cup? England was the most improved team in the 6 nations, but not a single English club in the semifinals of the Challenge Cup(All French teams) nor the Heineken Cup.

Curious, indeed.
