I read this week that England tighthead Kyle Sinckler apparently has no memory of the Rugby World Cup final, having been knocked out in a collision with Maro  Itoje’s hip in the opening minutes.

To which the only obvious response is I wish I could say the same.

Tee hee, like it,but in fairness it was the possibly the crux of the matter.

I think losing Sink upset the balance of the game at the start and as we know, at the pinnacle of our sport small margins make a big difference. Think it shows that as big as your squad is you need world class as a back up as well as a starter. Don't get me wrong, a Cole fan for many years but his day has gone at very top level, would have taken Williams personally. Would love to see him get his coaching stripes and help England develope our next gen international prop's but a whole W/C final turned out to be pivotal to be frank.

Next W/c front row, Genge/George/Sink, back ups? Don't know!
